Advancements in Hearing Aid Technology Allow Reconnection to Life

A recently released survey commissioned by Siemens Hearing Instruments, Inc. reveals that the average person age 50 to 75 believes his / her hearing is above average, while the majority of their children think their parents should have their hearing tested.

Fortunately, the newest advances in hearing aid technology make it easy for persons with hearing loss to choose hearing aids that suits their needs best. Two people, retired police officer James Cudo and former Miss USA Shawnae Jebbia, exemplify users who turned to the latest hearing aid technology to enhance their hearing and make their communication with others hassle-free.

After being tested, retired police officer Cudo, opted for Siemens Life 700, a small, behind-the-ear hearing aid with 16 channels and five listening programs. Former Miss USA Jebbia, on the other hand, is happy with the amplification and other features offered by her Siemens Pure® 700 hearing aids, the newest, nearly invisible hearing aid that features 16 channels, as well as Bluetooth connect option. When coupled with the Siemens Tek®, which controls wireless communications between the hearing aid and Shawnae's cell phone, audio system, TV, and PC; Shawnae is able to stay truly connected.
